Bowers & Wilkins, the British audio company known for producing some of the world's best speakers including the sexy Nautilus speakers, have revealed a new loudspeaker that celebrates the recent partnership between Bowers & Wilkins and luxury car brand, Maserati.
The 805 Maserati Edition provides a twist on its classic 805 Diamond by incorporating elements of the luxurious interior of a Maserati car. Combining the high quality audio performance of Bowers & Wilkins and the understated elegance of Maserati, the 805 Maserati Edition ties in with the arrival of the new Maserati Quattroporte, the first Maserati model to feature integrated Bowers & Wilkins car audi systems.
As with the Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series Diamond range, the basis of this new speaker is significant audio and design innovation. The 805 Maserati Edition features state of the art audio technologies, including Bowers & Wilkins’ Diamond Dome Tweeter, delivering a listening experience that promises to marry the heritage and innovation of both brands.
Crafted from bird’s eye maple real wood veneer and black Maserati leather reflect from the interior of the brand’s cars, with a speaker stand that is finished with the same polished wood veneer and features the Maserati Trident. The Trident has been part of the Maserati identity since 1926 and was designed by Mario Maserati based upon the statue of Neptune in the fountain of Bologna’s Piazza Maggiore.
As well as the speaker, Bowers & Wilkins will also be celebrating this partnership by launching a P5 Maserati Edition headphone in late 2013.
