SuperyachtDESIGN Week returns for 2014
Following the hugely successful inaugural SuperyachtDESIGN Week earlier this year, the dates have been finalised for 2014 returning to Design Centre Chelsea Harbour from 24-26 June. In these early stages, we're asking for all papers and topics to be submitted for inclusion in next year's programme.…
Ever evolving to go above and beyond the typical conference offerings,
the 2014 edition of SuperyachtDESIGN Week is looking to take the great
success of 2013 and bring you bigger keynotes, topical sessions,
interactive workshops and dynamic debates. With no event like it in the
superyacht calendar, SuperyactDESIGN Week brings the worlds top
designers to one city to debate the hot topics, challenge the future of
design, get interactive with delegates and relax over a glass of
champagne. Be sure to add 24-26 June to your calendar and join us again at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour in London.
During these early stages of the event planning, we're calling on anyone who would like to submit their own topics that they feel need to be addressed during this meeting of the minds. Pertinent issues, conversations that continue to arise, forward thinking designers, papers to be discussed, workshop ideas or any other design topics you feel should be raised during these three days will reviewed by the team.
Last year featured a thought provoking opening keynote by award-winning land based designer, Rabih Hage. Firmly setting the tone to question and challenge the design world, Hage's statements about the world of superyacht design continue to echo months later. Further solidifying what this event is really about - a relaxed atmosphere for designers to debate and discuss - delegates and designers are given ample networking opportunities, creative outlets and innovative sessions to explore the biggest issues in the design world today.
If you have a paper you would like to submit, keynote speaker you think should be present, or theme you feel is of particular relevance to this edition of SuperyachtDESIGN Week, please submit them to myself, Rebecca Curran at rebeccac@thesuperyachtgroup.com. For all other enquiries, please contact Georgina Lucey on georgina@thesuperyachtgroup.com
