UK, London. As part of Editor’s Picks, an initiative part of SuperyachtDESIGN Week, Chaplins Furniture presented Shito and Kaba, two outdoor ranges from Paola Lenti launched in Milan last month.

Project SL 118-607 by Sanlorenzo

With exclusivity in the supply of Paola Lenti products in London, Chaplins Furniture takes pride in offering high end pieces to the market and are familiar with the yacht market. Examples of previous projects include the supply to Sanlorenzo and Mangusta Overmarine Group with a range of products by F.Rota.

Shito

With a fixed structural hand woven cover using Chain Outdoor tubular knit in this example, Shito is a chaise longue with a simple base that can be finished in either natural bras, natural copper or stainless steel with a special galvanic treatment made by De Castelli on an exclusivity basis. Its unusual structure loosely recalls the shape of a baseball mitt, giving the design a playful edge.

Kaba two-seater sofa

Kaba, which is available as an armchair and two-seater sofa, also features a simple and practical base structure made of thin steel rods coated in avorio, grafite or wengé colour. The cushions are held firmly in place by means of sticks in black locust heartwood, which are fixed to the frame of the chair. The removable upholstery cover is available in a selection of Paola Lenti fabrics suitable to outdoor environments.
