UK, Fareham. Premiered at the Antibes Yacht Show earlier this year, Shadow is a 10.6m tender by Wahoo, which will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show along with its SOLAS-compliant SP450.

Despite its 35 knot speed and 12-person capacity, the SP450 can be classed as a life raft for regulatory compliance purposes, with the Shadow being, “the all new limousine which we are hoping to secure an order on”, explains marketing director, Nick Band.

SP450

While the SP450 is designed to be practical and robust, Shadow mimics a superyacht in its shape and proportions. “The Shadow takes limousine design and construction to a new level and marks an important milestone for Wahoo,” said Wahoo MD Paul Holland. Designed exclusively for Wahoo by Wayne Huntley of Spline Naval Architecture, the boat can be constructed from 9m up to 10.6m and can carry a maximum of 14 guests.

The tender is powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 270hp each, which in turn are connected to a Hamilton jet drive and achieve a maximum speed of 35 knots. However, other power options are available.
