The luxury of yachting harks back to an era of glamour, with St Tropez and Jackie O sunglasses springing to mind, we can look back fondly at these retro designs from a golden era. But what does the future hold?
The impact of yacht design goes further than size, shape and the number of decks on each vessel. The materials used, the richness of paint options and the toys devised to bring owners closer to the water are all evolving. Similarly marinas, ports and landscapes continue to evolve to be able to accommodate these marvels. Whatever your interest or investment, it would be criminal not to keep abreast of the trends.
On Tuesday 24 June, SuperyachtDESIGN Week delegates will be given the opportunity to explore the future of our industry and gain insight into the creations that will be lining the quaysides in years to come.
