At a press conference on the first day of the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show
(MYS), Royal Huisman CEO Alice Huisman, together with designer Andrew
Winch of Andrew Winch Designs, unveiled a new 80m motoryacht called Dart. The new design strengthens the relationship and understanding of both businesses for the future of yachting.
“We started off by creating a motoryacht that we liked the look of,” explained Winch. “Once we had achieved this, we decided to create a sailing yacht version, using many of the same styling cues such as the shape of the bow and the lines in the hull.”
