Rhine Maiden Vanity Table
The Rhine maiden vanity table is one of several bespoke pieces of sculptural furniture created for a residential project in Dusseldorf, Germany. A sturdy frame of marine-grade stainless steel supports a 40mm thick, sculpted glass top, backed with burnt copper and silver leaf, giving the effect of bubbling spring water. The hand-sculpted carcass is finished in a coldspray steel and the drawer units, which open in a fan-like fashion, are finished in a birds-eye maple veneer.…
