It was a wonderful experience working with the team at Triton last year, not only with the sub training, but also during the maintenance program that we undertook with our Triton 1000/2 prior to training. Our submarine was due for its annual maintenance and class surveys, and the guys at Triton did an amazing job not only taking care of the maintenance items in a timely manner, but also installing modifications and improvements.
The submarine was completely disassembled and then re-built at their facility within a very tight time schedule with no delays. Once at sea, my training and the sub’s classification dives were a truly amazing experience. The Triton team’s level of professionalism and attention to detail is second to none, while still being very patient and meticulous while teaching me the ins-and-outs of the sub’s operating and safety systems.
Even though I was a submariner in the Navy in my previous life, and an avid scuba diver, I found the whole experience of being underwater in a Triton beyond all my expectations. It is truly an amazing experience, one that I can honestly consider as in the top three highlights of my life.
