Maritime software and hardware developer Oculus Technologies has launched YachtEye HotSpots, a content-based feature which enables YachtEye users to better engage in a broader experience of what is happening on and beyond their superyacht.

The latest in a range of new products, features and services to be added to the already established infotainment system YachtEye, YachtEye HotSpots offers guest-oriented content packages designed to be used as an additional YachtEye feature. The packages can be specifically tailored to suit an owner's or yacht's individual itinerary.

Designed to provide relevant content specifically aimed at the luxury yacht sector, this new product allows the user to browse through useful information, images and films via YachtEye's various solutions. Moreover, the information system also ensures the yacht and its owner finds and discovers the right detonations to suit them worldwide, from idyllic breaches to exclusive clubs or restaurants.

"Adding content-based packages to our existing YachtEye solutions and modules enables us to extend the information side of our interactive infotainment product. We constantly strive to ensure that our products offer an enhanced on-board experience. HotSpots is a great example of how technology can be used to provide a personalised and informative experience and enables users to enjoy not just everything on board but make the most of what is also nearby, wherever they may be in the world," explained Stefan van Cleef, co-owner of Oculus Technologies B.V.

YachtEye products will be featured at this weeks METS, held at the RAI in Amsterdam, on several YachtEye dealer stands including Van Berge Henegouwen, Ideaworks, Alewijnse and Tijssen Elektro.
