Oculus Technologies has launched its latest product to join its YachtEye portfolio, the YachtEye XS. The 'XS' version of YachtEye provides the complete on-board infotainment system via iPads and with its ease and speed of installation - a key point of focus during the product's engineering stage - is suitable for yachts of all sizes, whether installed in a new build or retrofitted.
YachtEye XS focuses on providing a more streamlined and cost-effective infotainment solution with no cable distribution required, a feature that makes the product particularly appealing to those looking to maximise space or ease of integration on board.
The 'XS' version, which has been enabled to receive Hotspots and incorporate PhotoViewer, includes a number of features similar to those familiar with the original YachtEye solution, such as YachtView and RoutePlanner, providing real-time information on the yacht's position, speed, heading, temperature and route, as well as up-to-date weather forecast integration and the ability to track surrounding yachts.
