UK, Leicestershire. Underwater lighting specialist OceanLED has announced the arrival of its M6 Mast Series LED light.

After receiving feedback from its customers, OceanLED has launched a lighting solution specifically designed to illuminate a mast and rigging. The new M6 Mast Series has a narrow beam angle to help focus the light produced onto the desired areas of the mast and rig.

“With an IP67 rating, it is versatile enough to serve a multitude of above deck uses such as lighting a suntop, radar, or wherever you may require a concentrated area of light on, rather than a flood,” says the press office at OceanLED. “It is also exceptionally easy to maintain, robust and weatherproof.”

The M6, which is offered in Ultra White and Warm White, gives out 400 lumens through its focused 36-degree beam, equivalent to an 80 watt halogen bulb but with a fraction of the power consumption. The manufacturer goes on to state that it can be easily installed and comes with a 15m cable. The M6 also has an ultra low power draw and no start up current is required.

The new model is suitable for aluminium, steel and composite rigs on any size vessel, from RIBS to larger yachts.
