MaxSea TimeZero App, the real-time marine chart app for navigation, has released version 1.2.

The version includes new features, as well as improvements on existing ones. New improvements include data exchange, camera integration, tidal data, event configuration and gesture shortcut.

“We have taken into account all the feedback received by users of the App since its initial release and have focused on developing the most-requested functions,” announces the company from its blog post on the app, where technical details on new features can be found.

In addition to the new features, the reliability of the App has been improved for when there’s a bad WiFi (or 3G) connection, avoiding scenarios such as crashes, frozen chart display and white screen without any data.

Pictures and screenshots can now be taken from the App and geo-referenced on the chart according to the yacht’s position

MaxSea TimeZero is a marine navigation app for coastal sailing, featuring chart display, as well as 3D data and weather information. The app is free to download and comes with a demo chart of the Miami region.
