Medaire will showcase its latest raft of products on ‘New Zealand Street’ at the Monaco Yacht Show. These will include the CrewMeds solution, the Resuscitation Kit and the Trauma Kit.
The CrewMeds solution saves crew time and reduces the need to shop onshore through delivery of commonly needed medical and personal health supplies. The comprehensive assortment contains everything from jellyfish sting protection, to sinus pain relief at a cost competitive with chemists.
The MedAire Resuscitation Kit gives crew peace of mind that lifesaving equipment is ready to go when needed most. The kit is colour-coded to ensure crucial equipment is easy to find in an emergency.
The company has also announced a partnership with yachtbuilder, Oyster Yachts, which will entitle any purchaser of a new build Oyster to two years’ membership of Oyster Elite traveller health programme, provided by MedAire.
The Oyster options list will be expanded to include an extensive range of quality medical kit systems appropriate for each yacht’s cruising plans. Owners, guests and crew will enjoy the certainty of premium 24/7 medical and travel safety assistance wherever they sail.
David Tydeman, Oyster Group CEO commented: “As part of our commitment we have also negotiated special membership rates for all yachts delivered prior to January 2014. We will be contacting owners in the coming months with regards to how to take up this subsidy offer.

MedAire’s Trauma Kit is an advanced trauma management kit designed particularly with larger vessels, or vessels travelling to remote regions, in mind.
