UK, Swansea. LED underwater light manufacturer Lumishore has launched two new superyacht underwater tech solutions at the Miami International Boat Show 2015. The latest additions to its wide range of products are the TIX301-LUMICAM and the TIX202-FF.
The 2015 LUMICAM is a high-definition underwater camera designed with both form and function in mind. Two video outputs provide HD-SDI or composite video to a MFD, Chart Plotter, or monitor. If Lumishore aren’t your light in the dark they can certainly help you see through it. An automatic low-light mode and a high-definition digital zoom are among a number of customisable features that ensure you can get the most out of this versatile product. The camera is serviceable from within the hull and is housed in a two-inch bronze thru-hull fitting. Aesthetic appeal is important to any superyacht owner and the LUMICAM’s flush fittings maintain the sleek surface of any transom, bottom or hull-side.
Requiring a 28mm cut-out, Lumishore confirms that the TIX202-FF is the “world’s slimmest ThruHull Interchangeable lighting system". Designed for superyacht owners who want a high performance lighting system on their tenders and prefer the practicality of a thru-hull light fitting coupled with a removable LED array that can be serviced from within. It contains 4,100 fixture lumens - the recognised measurement of 'useful' light for LED systems - and an integrated driver unit. Its low profile, flush fit bronze marine housing allows smooth installation to transom and hull, a feature central to all Lumishore exterior lighting systems and cameras.
