Lumiron launches modular dimmer system

Lumiron has launched a LED dimmer module (DMR-3001) that the company claims is scalable for customisation on board superyachts.…

U-based lighting specialist, Lumiron has launched its new LED Dimmer (DMR – 3001). The modular dimming system features momentary switch control, which allows one action to control the entire range of brightness, including on/off and the ability to dim from 0-100 per cent.

Because of its modular nature the dimmer can be fully customised to suit a superyacht interior and is completely scalable. These bespoke requests can be addressed at Lumiron’s on-site manufacturing facility. Speaking to SuperyachtNews.com, Lumiron’s owner, Shai Dinari explained that the dimmer’s ‘memory’ ensured that the correct brightness would be retained when the light was turned back on.

With regards installation on board superyachts, Dinari said that each dimmer has a DC output of 240W, and is waterproof to IP65 compliance. “We can customise to fit any solution because we manufacture everything right here”, he explained. “We can create multiple zones so that, if the owner wants to control four zones from one dimmer, we create four buttons”.
