Jotun has launched Megagloss AC; an acrylic polyurethane, high gloss top coat, with a reflective, mirror like finish that supplements the megayacht product range, offering an alternative top coat to the Megagloss HG, launched in 2010.
Megagloss AC is the result of over two years research and development and extensive testing on large scale yacht applications, to fully ensure the product is the best possible solution, offering durability and versatility. Using the latest resins and binder technologies available, the modern acrylic polyurethane topcoat is easy to apply and to achieve high gloss finish that can be polished and buffed, if required.
Megagloss AC is part of the Jotun Multicolor tinting system that was introduced around the world in 1974, incorporating the most innovative and technologically advanced tinting solutions and offering almost unlimited choice of colours.
If a high gloss finish is not required, Megamatting agent can be added to the mixed Megagloss AC to reduce the gloss level to the desired finish.
