Fuelcare has installed its Superyacht Biocide Injection System on board newly delivered 81.8m Abeking & Rasmussen, Kibo. The system will administer precise doses of KATHON FP 1.5 Fuel Biocide into the fuel system when bunkering.

The recently Lloyd’s Register class-approved system counteracts the damaging effects of diesel bug without the costly and time-consuming need for tank cleaning or restorative treatment.

Dosing also eradicates the need for manual administration of biocides, affording environmental and health and safety benefits, and reduces product wastage.
