Featuring 32 designs across classic, traditional and exotic wood species, the new Formica Ligna range from Formica Group has released their new product made from reconstituted real wood veneer laminates.
Commenting on the new range was the Group's European Marketing Director, Simon Wild: "we have not only considered the current and anticipated trends in terms of colours, finishes and wood species; the wood used to produce Formica Ligna laminates is derived from sustainable forestry practices". The veneers come pre-finished and require no further staining, lacquering or surface finishing, thus reducing the total fabrication costs and are available in four different formats: finegrains, straight grains, crowns and exotics.
The entire Formica Ligna Collection is FSC Certified as standard and utilises fast-growing species from manged, sustainable sources. In addition, the Group recently became the first global laminate manufacturer to be awarded the Carbon Trust's Carbon Reduction Label for its products.
