FLIBS entryway open to interpretation

Show Management, the organiser of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, has invited studios and individuals to design the main entryway to the 57th edition of FLIBS.…

US, Fort Lauderdale. The organisers of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), Show Management, have invited all those who are creatively inclined to submit a design for the 2016 show’s main entrance, located at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. The winning design will be selected on August 1.

All entrants must submit their name and contact information, as well as a hand-drawn or computer aided design piece and a list of materials by July 1 to Brett Keating, the president of consumer marketing at Show Management, at BKeating@ShowManagement.com.

“We are tapping our enthusiastic, worldwide audience for creative ideas to engage our fans and we are looking forward to reviewing all the exciting designs,” says Keating. “The entranceway will set the tone for the world’s largest in-water boat show, giving the winning designer major exposure.”

The design should be an arch structure, as befits an entryway, and must be finished by October 10 and the winner must deliver and install it at the show on November 3 at 7am. For the full list of of rule and details visit ShowManagement.com/global/65.

The 57th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is set to take place November 3-7 at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Centre, the Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Sails Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Marina and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Centre.
