Spanish tender consultant company EYOS Tenders has delivered its latest vessel, the Maori 52 Collider. The 16m Collider is the first of a new line of tenders from the Maori Future Concept series, styled by Ken Freivokh Design.
The tender, with a notably futuristic design, features an axe bow and striking lines, and is powered by two FTP 380kW engines driven by Jolly Surface Drives.
EYOS Tenders was contracted to oversee the build of the vessel, which included continual assessment and internal survey work, whilst also advising on the technical features of the tender that the consultant has described as “a real head turner".
This first model in the Maori 52 Collider line was launched in July for sea trials in Calda di Volpe, Sardinia, before being delivered to her owner, and according to the EYOS Tenders performed well and as expected.
John Apps and Nigel Upton of EYOS Tenders co-managed the project, and both have declared their delight at the final result. “The team at Maori have done an excellent job in delivering the boat on time and to such a high standard,” said Upton. “We would like to thank them for all of their efforts. It is a very beautiful boat.”
