Company Director at Zaha Hadid confirmed for SYDW
Patrik Schumacher, company director and senior designer at Zaha Hadid Architects will be delivering a closing keynote presentation on 24th June at SuperyachtDESIGN Week (24-26) next week.…
While initially planning on speaking herself, Zaha Hadid has recommended her esteemed company director and long term partner at the company represent the group and their wide and varied projects.
Joining the company in 1988, Schumacher has player a key role in many of the group's most iconic designs, including MAXXI: National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome, the BMW Central Building in Leipzig and the Guangzhou Opera House in China. He is widely published and lectures at leading architectural schools in Britain, Europe and America. Following their recent collaboration with Blohm+Voss and presentation of the Unique Circle Yachts concept in the autumn in London, the team is looking to expand further into the world of superyacht design.
Schumacher will be closing day one of the event, 24 June, delivering a presentation from 17:00-18:00 available for VIP ticket holders only.
