Crestron is soon to launch its home automation application for the Apple Watch…
With the Internet of Things around the corner and smart technology going from strength to strength, the expectation of practical automation has also continued to increase. Crestron, a manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, has launched a new application that allows you to control your marine domotics from the recently released Apple Watch.
The new app brings together all your home systems into a single convenient and stylish format. With the release of the Apple Watch Edition (the luxury range), it is possible for superyacht owners and professionals to control their on board systems with a suitable timepiece.

Creston’s Apple Watch app gives you complete control over music, lighting, security, heating, blinds and more. Whether you are on board or on land, two-way communication allows you to check your system levels and ensure your yacht is warm and secure upon your return. A customisable home user display creates a personalised home screen that gives you access to your ten most utilised functions.
Crestron will be demonstrating this application along with other marine smart yacht technology on the 23-25 June at this years SuperyachtDESIGN Week at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.
