The foodie instagrammers have taken over the social sphere by storm. We bring you the best Instagram accounts of our industry: those of superyacht chefs.
Dean Harrison: @theyachtchef
Dean is an Australian superyacht chef, based in New Zealand. Expect lots of photos of Dean catching his own dinner.
Jason Howard: @chefjasonhoward
OK, we told a teeny tiny lie. Jason isn’t actually a superyacht chef, he’s a London-based chef consultant – though when we spoke to him he wasn’t against the idea of working on a superyacht! But his food photos, which focus on a combination of Caribbean, French and English cuisine, with so much colour, are so beautiful, we couldn’t not include him.
So much colour. This chef’s photos are less minimalistic, and are guaranteed to make your stomach rumble if you’re the slightest bit hungry.
Geoffrey Fisher: @geoff.the.chef
A superyacht chef for a 70m-plus motoryacht, Geoffrey’s photos are very much ‘food en masse’, exhibiting the realities of just how many people superyacht chefs really have to cater for.
This Australian chef takes photos of all his meals plated up – and they look delicious.
Chris Demaillet: @yachtchefchrisdemaillet
Chris is another chef whose colour when it comes to his cooking is outstanding. The instagram profile alone is a feast for the eyes, and we bet the food doesn’t taste too bad either!
Close ups of piles and piles of food – and a few fun ones of the crew as well!
Manny Slomovits: @mslomovits
Manny’s posts aren’t all about food – they’re about the people behind the food. A great account to follow if you want to know more about what goes into creating food fit for superyachts.
