Keith Shepherd and the Yachtsman Insurance Services team are celebrating 50 years since the company’s inception. Yachtsman’s golden anniversary will coincide with the 23rd Monaco Yacht Show. Shepherd has been attending the show since its inception.

Over the years Shepherd says he has played an integral role in reconciling yacht insurance with the world’s insurance hub – Lloyds of London. And this year he will continue his impressive presence at the show by marketing the company’s various insurance bundles, including a MLC-compliant package.

“Everybody in the industry will know it’s our 50th anniversary”, Shepherd said. “Many of the brokers and the underwriters that are now in the marketplace were helped out by us and it’s not often that a company makes it to 50 years, although nobody has given me a gold watch”, he quipped.

Shepherd will be at the show to advise on quotations for hull, P&I and crew welfare insurance, as well as other bespoke solutions.
