USSA announces 2013-2014 board of directors

The U. S. Superyacht Association (USSA) has announced its 2013 - 2014 board of directors, as elected in October earlier this year.
John Mann, III of Bluewater Books and Charters will remain in his role as chairman of the USSA executive committee, and is joined by the following additions: Kristina Hebert of Ward's Marine Electric as vice chairman; Corey Ranslem of Intenrational Maritime Security Associaites, Inc. as advocacy co-chair; Tim Davey of ISS GMT as immediate past chairman, Peter Schrappen of Northwest Marine Trade Association as advocacy co-chair; Bert Fowles from IGY Marinas as marketing chairman; Mark Cline of Cline Financial Group as treasurer; and Jim Perry of Perry & Neblett, P.A. as general counsel.
"The USSA has been very fortunate to have strong board members dedicated to helping grow the organisation," explained Mann. "By continually bringing in new representatives at the board level, we are able to draw on their energy, ideas and skills. This combination of dynamic board positions and those elected at large have helped to further proper the USSA to the next level and position us as a vibrant national association."
The regional board members, elected for a one-year term, are as follows:
Ami Ira, Crew Unlimited / C.U. Yacht Charters - Southeast
Jay Dayton, Avon Dizon Agency - Mid-Atlantic
John Clayman, Seaton Yachts - Northeast
Jim Ruffolo, Burger Boat Company - Great Lakes
Rick Gladych, Omni Risk Insurance - Northwest
Kate Pearson, Shelter Island Marine - Southwest
Billy Smith, III, Trinity Yachts - Gulf Coast
The new at large board members, elected for a two-year term, are as follows:

Tripp Nelson, Alexseal
Christina Norris, Oversee Yachts
