TURKEY, Bodrum. Esenyacht has released new renders of its second superyacht project, codenamed 'Troy'. The 47m sloop has had its original 2013 delivery date revised and is now due for completion in late 2014.

Featuring naval architecture from Ark Yat, with interior and exterior styling provided by Tim Saunders and the Esenyacht in-house team, the sailing yacht will accommodate 12 guests, although she is designed with racing in mind.

According to Esenyacht, on board materials will be locally sourced, with marble selected from an Anatolia quarry. 'Special attention has also been paid to the design and layout of the galley,' a yard statement read, 'which will include technology not previously used in the yachting sector.'

The vessel is currently undergoing outfitting of the hull, with the composite superstructure due to be installed in early 2014. She represents a notable step up in size from the yard’s first project, 36m Glorious, which was launched in 2011. “We prefer the sense of personalisation that comes with our approach to building one-off yachts,” said general manager Deniz Can. “The consistency that comes with high quality craftsmanship from one’s own workshops never goes out of fashion.”
