The Superyacht Owner magazine launches
The Superyacht Group announces the first edition of The Superyacht Owner magazine. Out in January 2012, it follows the pilot edition, available now.…
The Superyacht Group has launched a brand new title to add to its print division. The Superyacht Owner is a five-times-yearly publication designed to educate, inform and guide owners through ownership time whilst being a source of inspiration on the possibilities of ownership.
The Superyacht Owner pilot edition is available now
The first edition is out in January 2012 and will feature several interviews with well-known superyacht owners. Anyone interested in getting a taste of the magazine now, can receive a free pilot edition via the website thesuperyachtowner.com. The site launches fully with the first edition in January.
The Superyacht Owner is steered by managing editor Lauren Barker. All content is aimed at owners who will also feature via interviews and through editorial contributions. Readers can expect to hear personal experiences and gain valuable lessons from other owners. Reports of inspirational or unusual itineraries to the Arctic or remote exotic islands will feature accompanied by amazing photography.
Practical topics will also be presented from how to generate revenue from chartering to features on how to save time and money on matters such as taxation and crew.
Thesuperyachtowner.com will eventually fully complement the magazine with current, topical and opinion-based reporting. It will also provide the market with a private access portal and a private and secure forum, which will allow subscribers to share their views with other owners.
Chairman of The Superyacht Group, Martin Redmayne, who created the magazine to address the problem of a lack of readily available and reliable sources of information for superyacht owners, commented:
“We are hugely excited at delivering a print and digital portfolio that will provide a serious look at the issues that can affect the enjoyment of today’s and tomorrow’s superyacht owner. The Superyacht Owner and www.thesuperyachtowner.com will allow experts in the market, and the primary investors in our industry, to communicate and exchange ideas and knowledge in a more open but private way, while previously this has been a one-on-one basis and behind closed doors.”
Lauren Barker, editorial director, added:
“I’m thrilled about The Superyacht Owner. The superyacht market really doesn’t have anything like this. For the first time owners can read about the secrets of maximising the value, in both both financial and emotional terms, of owning a superyacht.”
The Superyacht Owner joins SuperyachtDesign and The Superyacht Report in The Superyacht Group’s print portfolio of magazines. Between the three magazines, every aspect of the superyacht market will be covered from design, to new builds and features on the latest new deliveries.
