Hot off the press The Superyacht Report’s Annual Report 2014 has been published.

Our in house intelligence team are permanently dedicated to research, data collection and preparation, which, though executed year round, culminate in the publication of the Annual Report.

The intelligence and editorial team have created an invaluable report, and bound within is the Global Order Book (GOB), the foundation of the issue. The GOB listings include all yachts over 30m that were delivered, launched, in build and also those that have been signed but not yet started in 2013.

With data being updated year round on and with 5,295 yacht records, each with more than 60 fields of information assigned to them, the statistical analysis we can generate as a result is a vital and reliable tool for the superyacht industry.

Included is also the state of the industry reports by The Superyacht Group’s editors. From insurance and design to charter and crew these offer a comprehensive look back at 2013 as well as foresight into the coming year as the industry slowly recovers from the financial crisis.

For those who prefer to view the year in a monthly, succinct fashion, the Year in View’s Business News journeys through 2013’s most newsworthy stories, reminding us of the highlights and the pitfalls over the year alongside statistical data showcasing 2013’s yacht launches and deliveries.

A new feature in this year’s Annual Report is a survey that builds a barometer to illustrate the state of key businesses in our industry and how they are fairing in the current economic climate. A more in-depth and targeted investigation into the successes and failures that have befallen different businesses during the year is found, with points such as profit and turnover, personal views on the industry as well as any future business expansion plans raised.

The Annual Report provides you with everything you need to reflect on 2013, but also enables readers to look into 2014 well informed.
