Technical talks at GSF

This November’s event will see several technically-focused sessions take place across the three days.…

The programme of the Global Superyacht Forum aims to provide a comprehensive range of topics and discussion points, ensuring each attendee finds sessions applicable to their role in the industry.

Focus groups and workshops cover over 20 topics this year, many of them focusing on technical and regulatory aspects of our industry. With an audience of shipyards, technology experts, technical directors and captains, the following workshops are designed to encourage educational debate amongst all in attendance.

Put your coat on
How can we deliver a complete coating system that will provide a high-quality, long-lasting solution to the client’s satisfaction without claims and headaches?

Fire Safety
With the spike fire-related incidents on board yachts in the past twelve months, we must ask why these are taking place in the first place and what can our market do to prevent them in the future?

IMO Tier III
This think tank will establish what to know about the new regulations, who the implementation affects and what owners and industry professionals need be aware of.

AC / DC
Should DC form the heart of future hybrid installations?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of AC- or DC-based systems, components and generators in hybrid installations on yachts?

Progressive Propulsions
What are the propulsion solutions of the future? As more vessels turn to hybrid technology and forward-thinking systems, experts will delve into this world and showcase what it means for our industry.

The programme is available in full here. Global Superyacht Forum is held from 14 – 16 November and is held in association with METSTRADE.

Amels, Awlgrip, Caterpillar, Clyde & Co, Genesis Technologies, Marlink, MARSS, MTN (an EMC Company), MTU Friedrichshafen, Palladium Technologies, Triton Submarines, Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH) and Yachtsure24 are official event partners.
