SYBAss board unanimously re-elected in Monaco

The General Assembly was opened by Audrey Lorenzi on behalf of the Monaco Yacht Show and outlined some of the plans for growth over the coming years thanks to the input and support of SYBAss members.
Speaking about the in-depth study commissioned by SYBAss over the past year, the General Assembly has examined how the top yards can engage a significant proportion of UHNWI around the world haven't yet considered purchasing a superyacht. A key motivating factor for investing is the desire to improve the economic situation by welcoming the next generation of owners to the superyacht lifestyle.
Speaking to SuperyachtNews.com this morning from Monaco, Secretary General, Theo Hooning shared his excitement with the re-election. "We are pleased with the results for two reasons. One is the continued efforts of our board members. We're happy to have a reliable group of members who come together for the common cause, travel all over the world and are investing their time and money in the common goal. And the other is, of course, that we continue to reach out and increase our customer base."
Other speakers addressing the General Assembly yesterday included Jay Tooker of Holman Fenwick Willan LLP, and Sofia Zyrianova, replacing Rovert van Tol as Operational Director at SYBAss.The re-election of the SYBAss board includes: Michael Breman (Lürssen), Fabrizio Sgariglia (Perini Navi), Vincenzo Poerio (Benetti), Billy Smith (Trinity), Koos Zitman (Feadship) and secretary general Theo Hooning.
