Two appointments set to boost Seakeeper's global presence
Gyrostabilisation expert Seakeeper has taken steps to boost its European presence with the appointment of Giorgio Avigdor and Phil Borque.…
Based in Genoa, Italy, Avigdor is responsible for sales development and management throughout the region. "Seakeeper is a young and dynamic company", he explained. "We have many exciting opportunities for growth, both with OEMs and in refit projects."
Avigdor joins Seakeeper from Ultraflex, a global manufacturer and distributor of leisure boat accessories and equipment, where he was national sales manager.
Bourque currently serves as Seakeeper's regional sales manager for EMEA but his duties have now been expanded to include the company's major OEM accounts worldwide.
"Seakeeper has become the industry's leading name for gyro stabilisers, largely due to our education efforts in the global market", he explained. "My new challenge is to nurture partnerships with serial production builders and transform Seakeeper into [the] standard equipment worldwide."
