RH Marine Group relaunch

Technology solutions group rises from the ashes of Imtech with new market strategy.…

Dutch marine tech conglomerate RH Marine Group – which arose from the ashes of Imtech – has unveiled its new corporate branding and hinted at its future strategy at the Europort 2015 exhibition in Rotterdam, Holland. The Group was acquired by Parcom Capital and Pon Holdings in the summer.

“Today we are happy that we can have a new start for our organisation,” said RH Marine Group’s CEO, Rene ten Brinke. “After our takeover we have gone through the approval process and in late October the official approval was there, so we were able to move on and to transfer shares. When you change in this way you also have to change your name. Underneath the old Imtech Marine name there were quite a few brand names, all important companies. What we are going to do in the future is create a focus in their individual markets again, so you will not say the name RH Marine Group anymore.”

The new name reflects two key elements of the group’s heritage – founding companies Radio Holland and Van Rietschoten & Houwens (now renamed RH Marine). “What’s the common denominator in both? That’s ‘RH’,” ten Brinke explained. “Both companies have a rich history, and that’s the reason why RH Marine Group was founded.”
