Port Tarraco has received ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification for its quality management system, which was awarded by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.

The former is in relation to its services to clients and visiting vessels, whilst the latter acknowledges the marina’s attempts to reduce its environmental impact. Notable steps that were picked out for praise included the quality of the electrical installations and the air quality.

“Getting these certificates represents a major advance on our journey towards excellence”, said Marc Colls, general manager. “[It is a] voyage that is never interrupted, given that our goal is to position our marina as a benchmark among ports with the capability [of hosting] the largest superyachts, not only in the Mediterranean, but worldwide.”
