Porsche Design's advent calendar

This year, Porsche Design gives you its own limited edition take on the traditional advent calendar, which hides an eight and a half metre long RFF28 Speedboat behind one door...…

This year, instead of cheap chocolates and cartoon character advent calendars, why not invest in a Christmas countdown that will be truly appreciated and remembered? Try the one million US dollar Porsche Design advent calendar that features a collection of astonishing luxury gifts. With only five available worldwide, the 1.75 metres tall advent calendar will be one of the most exclusive and extravagant Christmas gifts to give this year.

This calendar hides a unique, deluxe surprise from Porsche Design behind each of the 24 windows, elegantly illuminated by light bars. One of the major highlights includes an eight and a half metre long RFF28 Speedboat, designed by the Porsche Design Studio in Austria, the perfect tender treat for any superyacht owner. According to Porsche, the beauty of the RFF28 Speedboat lies in its unique combination of elegance and performance. Functional, modern and attractive, the tender offers new levels of manoeuvrability, stability and horsepower. The cockpit interior features custom-made teak flooring and adjustable, ergonomically upholstered sporting bucket seats and with a 525 HP Mercury engine, the RFF28 can reach top speeds of up to 80 knots.

Other concealed gifts include yellow gold sunglasses, a fully customisable Porsche Design kitchen, fine writing tools, timeless cufflinks and a pair of Bounce:S² trainers, which have won several design awards. As some of the gifts are rather too large to fit behind the small doors, they are represented symbolically on aluminium plates, giving a most distinctive style.

The Porsche Design brand was established in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche and aims to design products that stand for functional, timeless and purist design, with an emphasis on technical innovation. The product portfolio includes watches, sunglasses, luggage, sports and fashion collection as well as electronic products and a men’s fragrance line. All the brand’s products are designed at the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria.
