Piet Brouwer completes three superyacht projects
Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has completed renewal of electrical systems for two 47m motoryachts and one 46m.…
Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has released reports on installation of electrical systems on three superyachts for the month of March.
The Dutch company fitted the entire electrical systems for Acico Yachts’ 47m motoryacht, Lady Dee, and 47m Nassima, from the same builder, as well as a 46m long motor yacht built by Vicem Yachts in Turkey.
Latest technology installed onboard these yachts included an active harmonic filter (AHF), which delivers a stable onboard power supply eliminating all harmonic interference. Also installed on the three was a crossover box, which improves the user-friendliness and operational reliability for engineers.
Marble Automation, a subsidiary of Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology, supplied the monitoring and control systems onboard. The superyachts Nassima and Lady Dee were also fitted with a marble automation alarm system. The alarm schematics are displayed on Hatteland monitors, which show the status of the integrated general alarm. Marble automation tank content measurement systems were also fitted, allowing an accurate reading for tank content.
“The portfolio of superyachts that have been fitted with electrical systems of Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology and the monitoring systems of Marble Automation has grown exponentially in recent years,” read the company statement.
It added that negotiations are ongoing for the installation of similar systems onboard a mixture of sailing and motoryacht projects.
