New chairman of Perini Navi Group

Fabio Boschi is to become chairman of the board of directors as Fabio Perini adopts the role of honorary chairman. Boschi has been CEO of the group’s holding company, Faper Group, which operates a diverse portfolio of businesses, since 2009.
Forty-three-year-old Boschi holds positions on the advisory boards of management companies in Europe and South America and has previously worked at executive level in the finance and accounting sectors.
“I am extremely happy to have Fabio Boschi on board with Perini Navi”, Fabio Perini said in a statement. “This step completes a long-term strategy to strengthen and reinforce our management and ensure continuity and sustainability throughout the group.”
Perini Navi Group's director of sales and marketing, Burak Akgul is the subject of an interview with European editor, Justin Ratcliffe in issue 160 of The Superyacht Report.
