Performance Yacht Painting, the superyacht painting specialist, has partnered up with VeGa Yachts, an Italian fairing company, in order to provide a comprehensive new build and refit finishing solution. This collaborative project has already begun in earnest with a 44m new build project underway at the Bordeaux-based Couach shipyard.

“The partnership between our two companies will enable us to provide new-build shipyards in Europe with an excellent level of service and a larger pool of experienced and mobile applicators,” says Gilles Delpy, managing director of Performance Yacht Painting.

Since their inception in 1986 VeGa Yachts has completed over 200 projects and worked with yards such as Azimut Benetti, Baglietto, Eurocraft, Mondo Marine, Mariotti and Tankoa, in conjunction with PYP’s experience of over 500 projects ranging from 20-130m, the experience is hard to doubt.

“After 30 years of working in the Italian new-build market, we believe that we have the experience and technical skills to approach larger projects, further afield,” adds Gaetano Vella of VeGa Yachts. “We have worked with PYP on a number of projects and the combination of our skill sets will greatly benefit our client.”
