Loher's time runs out
Unable to find a solution that allowed the company to exist in its former guise, Loher Raumexklusiv has been acquired by competitor, Vedder. The company will become a Vedder subsidiary - Vedder Munich Loher Raumexklusiv.…
Loher's owner, Alfred Loher Jun, had been seeking an investment structure that would allow the company to carry on its in its existing guise but, with a 1 June wrapping-up order looming, a deal with Loher's competitor was struck behind the scenes, according to several German media reports.
SuperyachtNews.com contacted the Loher offices to speak to Loher Jun but a spokesperson for the new entity said, 'Mr Loher Jun no longer works here. The company no longer exists [as it was] declared insolvent earlier this month. This is now Vedder Munich.'
Due to the nature of its purchaser's business, Vedder Munich Loher Raumexklusiv will continue to operate in the superyacht interior outfitting market and the branch remains fully operational.
