Gulf Craft are investing in an increased presence at the Monaco Yacht Show this year, which includes the display of the largest yacht the UAE-based builder has ever brought to Europe. The 42m Majesty 135 will be making its first appearance at the show, indicative of the yard’s growing dedication to an international market.
“We decided to display the Majesty 135 in the Monaco Yacht Show because the show not only attracts Europeans but also potential clients from Asia, Australia, the Americas and even our home region the Middle East,” says Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft. “The Majesty 135 has a wide potential client base and the show allows Gulf Craft to show its innovation and craftsmanship to an international audience.”
Bamps goes on to say that the builder is viewing both the Asian and European market with equal attention at the moment. “Both markets are intriguing for us,” he explains. “The difference between the Asian market and the European market is that Asia is an emerging market and our wide range of products from 27 feet up to 155 feet caters to those needs.
“Europe is a mature market and we promote our Majesty Yachts brand heavily there. Although we have smaller size yachts and boats in Europe, but the clientele we are targeting are for our higher end yachts and superyachts. In other words, each market has different requirements and therefore we have to attend to it in different ways.”
The Majesty Yachts collection is Gulf Craft’s flagship brand of fly-bridge motoryachts. The Majesty 135 is powered by twin MTU 2,400 hp and the yard claim novelty features on board stretch from the use of state-of-the-art technology and environmentally friendly equipment, to advanced entertainment systems and ample lounging areas. A 65" smart full HD LED television in the main saloon, weather-proof ceiling speakers on the sun and upper decks, state rooms equipped with iPad control, and Wi-Fi access throughout the yacht are a few examples of the technology on board the Majesty 135.
