Dukley Marina in Budva, Montenegro joins Camper & Nicholsons Marinas

On August 20, Camper and Nicholsons Marinas extended its '1782 Club' network with the addition of Dukley Marina in Budva, Montenegro.
A popular stop over for superyachts passing through the Adriatic sea, Dukley Marina will undergo a major redevelopment under the Camper & Nicholsons brand, which will be advising on the new design.
Colin Kingsmill, head of sales and marketing for Dukley Marina, said “Camper & Nicholsons is widely regarded as the world’s oldest and most respected yachting brand and their experience in luxury marina development and operational excellence make them the ideal partner, as Dukley Marina begins its transformation into one of Montenegro’s finest yachting destinations.”
Positioned next to the 3,500 year old town, the development will include the addition of substantial breakwater and a 60 per cent increase in the number of berths, which is hoped will enhance the position of the marina as the first stop coming in from the Ionian. Along with these changes there will also be the addition of marina services, retail, restaurants, hospitality and residential green zones and public spaces.
Kurt Fraser, sales and marketing director for C&N Marinas, added, “the redevelopment of Dukley Marina will help ensure Budva’s re-emergence as Montenegro’s premier tourist destination, featuring one of the finest experiential marinas and yachting destinations in the Mediterranean.” The immediate surrounding area features seaside promenades, restaurants and boutiques.
Under the new Dukley brand, various other projects will begin including a beach club, restaurant/lounge and residential offerings with hotels in planning. The signature, existing property, Dukley Gardens stands as a luxury residential development on the Zaval Peninsula in the Budva Riviera.
