The Company, based in Fort Lauderdale in Florida, specialises in electric and electronic on board assistance. And as such IME has been appointed by CMC to act as the latter's qualified service centre for Central-North America and the Caribbean, and IME's certified technicians will now operate in close synergy with CMC Marine’s.
A CMC Marine hailed the partnership:
'The company recognises in IME a reliable partner, whose technicians are known to be truly committed, with a deep understanding of the local market. The Fort Lauderdale company has been servicing the needs of the luxury yachting industry for over 30 years.
'Long standing vendor relationships, factory trained and certified technicians, as well as quality, customer service and attention to detail - such qualities have positioned IME as one of the premier marine electrical/electronics service providers in the south Florida area and, at the same time, represent exactly what CMC Marine is looking for in its partner.
Mr. Greg Woods, Island Marine Electric’s founder, is also confident in the partnership’s future, stating:
“Island Marine Electric is excited to announce its partnership with CMC Marine of Cascina, Italy. As a leader in the marine electrical/electronics industry for more than 30 years, IME is uniquely qualified to support CMC in their ever expanding product line, including the Stabilis Electra, the world’s first electrical stabiliser.
"IME will be CMC Marine’s factory service representative for North America, Central America and the Caribbean areas. The combination of award winning products and IME’s proven customer service record should be good news for CMC Marine’s ever expanding customer base.”
