Bond Technology Management has announced the formation of the Bond Support and Services Group, an alliance of three companies able to offer a comprehensive AV/IT support service for subscribers on the water.
The Bond Support and Services Group will comprise Bond, Titan Marine Networks and A-Knowledge. Titan specialises in the installation and service of Seatel TVRO’s and VSAT terminals. The company also provides Satellite TV cards, GSM contracts and airtime contracts to the yacht industry and is the only MTN platinum partner in Europe. A-Knowledge provides complex programming, IT and advanced support services in professional AV projects. It specialises in providing complex integrated solutions for Crestron installations and has extensive experience in the analysis and maintenance of these systems.
Bond’s founder, Will Faimatea said of the new group, which will be officially unveiled in Monaco: “We focused our attention on specialised companies which we consider to be at the top of their field. Both Titan Marine and A-Knowledge bring the type of high-level engineering that our clientele expect from Bond TM. Our belief is such that Bond TM takes a commercial position in each company in the group, thus making the commitment stronger than a simple handshake. This commitment ultimately benefits our clients.”
Speaking to SuperyachtNews.com Bond’s sales and marketing director, Laura Marchisio said “we have made this new group, which will include the IT support – with Bond IT – Titan’s antenna and mast expertise, and the very technical elements of AV systems through A-Knowledge.” “This group is really a total support service once they are cruising”, she added, “and comes from discussions we’ve had with ETOs on what they need.”
