Bachmann Marine appoints head of yachting services

Bachmann Marine has announced the appointment of Gary Le Cras as head of yachting services. Following a long association with the Bachmann brand, having formerly been head of the original Bachmann Marine Services from 1999 to 2010, he is joining the company to lead the yacht team.
Specialising in providing and managing yacht ownership structures, yacht registrations, MLC-compliant crew employment and payroll, recruitment, training and yacht expense management and accounting, Le Cras believes that retaining the focus on these main areas of expertise and not diversify outside of the maritime spectrum is the key to Bachmann’s success. “The industry has been quite turbulent in the past few years and we have managed to continue to develop the business and to maintain our market position,” he says. “Bachmann is a marine specialist and we always focus on our core services for which we are known.”
Commenting on the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, Le Cras is optimistic for a successful event. “I think Monaco will always remain the most prestigious European show, it is an opportunity for the industry to showcase the best of the best,” he says. “Our presence there is two fold; it is a relation management meet and greet at a very prestigious event and it is important to be there as support to the brokers and managers.”
