Lumotics Marine has appointed two companies specialising in installation of marine electrical systems, Landau UK and Palma-based Etech Yachting (ETY) as authorised to install Lumotics systems.
Lumotics, which designs, builds and installs its advanced lighting control solutions for luxury yachts, also works closely with a network of authorised installers. It provides them with support and training to ensure high standards are maintained.
The co-operation has already begun with lighting projects already commissioned for Lumotics products at Landau, including Mood Magic and Sound 2 Light units. ETY has already worked with Lumotics’ systems, most recently completing a major installation on a 53m motoryacht using its driver equipment.
"With a tight, two-week deadline we needed a blind controller and an all-in-one lighting system and that's exactly what we got!" commented ETYs Steve Worrall. "We met Lumotics at the Palma boat show and as soon as I explained the deadline and what we needed they set to work on a bespoke Somfy blind controller, lighting system and a touch screen with custom software to meet our client’s needs."
Lumotics Marine’s Pidge Scales added: “Our installation partners are acknowledged experts in marine electronics, and have excellent track records in undertaking complex lighting installations on board large yachts. That, combined with the support that we offer, gives us complete confidence in their ability to integrate our drivers and control units with today’s state-of-the-art user interface systems.”
