Let's get the season started. So with the lockdown gently easing, what a fitting moment to launch the sixth edition of the Hill Robinson HarbouRnews magazine.
Nick Hill, founding partner gives you an overview of this edition.
"Welcome to our latest edition of HarbouRnews Summer 2020. We trust this finds you safe and well. This is the window on our world, illustrating our expanding activities, our growing team of passionate and extraordinary people, delivering great client service. Although we understand that everyone has been impacted by the repercussions that coronavirus has created, we are all trying our best to adapt and evolve our way of life, leisure and work.
The partners have really appreciated the incredible efforts of all of our staff around the world, who have done an amazing job during challenging times. The positive attitude and extraordinary efforts to go the extra mile have been widely applauded across our fleet.
The Hill Robinson team working alongside the fleet captains and crew have stayed in excellent contact, with successful voyages supported by the shore team coordinating crew travel, port clearances and solving many problems on a daily basis. We have all adapted to the new normal, with routine daily and weekly video calls, making working from home highly efficient and creating a fresh camaraderie that will carry over into normal office working. Take a look at our 'lockdown diaries' on page 24.
At Hill Robinson we have new systems to support a consistent strategy of client focus alongside our safety and security systems. Our customers will appreciate how a yacht management company like ourselves, experienced in risk assessments, coping with government regulations and finding positive solutions, could not be better equipped to take on the coronavirus challenge.
News directors and staff.
At the same time our business development strategy has resulted in two new directors joining the team and a number of new staff in different offices around the world, including Kaisa Pace, our new charter manager in the USA. Moravia Yachting has expanded with extra experienced team members, we have increased our levels in crew training and anticipate a lot more for 2020.
So despite the negative consequence of the coronavirus plight, there has never been a better time to enjoy your yachting, at its safest and probably with the least impact of mass tourism. Cruising secluded and beautiful places will be especially rewarding in 2020. We trust you stay safe, but still enjoy and treasure those precious yachting moments."
