With the start of the Palma Superyacht Show almost upon us, it’s clear why Mallorca’s capital is buzzing with the kind of excitement only reserved for the biggest events. To intensify anticipation even further, here’s the latest news and info on what to expect during the yachting industry’s sunniest, and arguably most popular, show.

Apart from being able to eye up boats in the 24-30m bracket (which have the benefit of being able to berth in most marinas, not to mention drop anchor in secluded bays) a good range of 40m + superyachts will also be vying for visitors’ attention. These are the kind of yachts that can easily accommodate 12 guests, boast superlative luxuries and have the range to take you wherever you’d like to go. The 40,5m motoryacht TATII, for sale through Burgess, is one such yacht. TATII's not only in top cruising condition but boasts infinite attributes, such as a luscious swimming pool on the foredeck and chic Ibiza-style aft deck dining area.

M/Y SMILING T and M/Y SAMAKANDA, for sale / charter with Ocean Independence, are two prime examples of smaller-sized superyachts (a contradiction in terms if there ever was one) that impress through their looks, versatility and raved over features.

Marina Port Tarraco: Sponsors of Friday’s Happy Hour

To kick off the event in a suitably celebratory manner Port Tarraco will be hosting a Happy Hour on Friday the 27th. Port Tarraco, a superyacht marina located in Tarragona, prides itself on offering 64 berths for yachts up to 160 meters. Happy Hour will take place between 18.30 - 20.00 and will provide the perfect setting for visitors and exhibitors to catch up with friends and acquaintances and make exciting new business connections.

Palma Superyacht Show partners DWD and Complete Marine Freight

Leading yacht uniform suppliers DWD are sponsoring the Palma Superyacht Show’s eye-catching team polos. So if you have questions about the event, the area or need assistance in any other way the ‘girls and guys in green’ are the ones to look out for.
Captains and/ or chief stewardesses looking to dress up the yacht’s crew in a crisp, new uniform for the upcoming Med season are invited to check out DWD’s fresh new styles at stand SY15.

Complete Marine Freight is our official shipping and logistics partner this year. Whether you're planning to ship a superyacht, air-freight a mast, transport spares or simply courier documentation, CMF provide solutions that save you time and money. Not for nothing have the Palma-based company shipped 475 superyachts in 2017 alone!
