Superyacht Insurance Group - to launch a new and crew medical insurance policy

Superyacht Insurance Group will be the exclusive broker to offer the brand new Global Mariner policy, that’s being launched later this week at the Palma Superyacht Show. The plan is a global individual crew medical policy, designed exclusively for yacht Captains and crew of any nationality.

The Global Mariner has been developed by Azimuth Risk Solutions, a Managing Underwriter and Plan Administrator, together with Superyacht Insurance Group and is underwritten by Lloyd’s of London.

She continues, “-The plan design is very simple for the crew to understand, the brochure is only 4 pages long. -Furthermore it offers a “one premium for all” and not based on gender and age.”

The Global Mariner offers coverage on- and- off the yacht for doctors, prescriptions, hospitalization, air evacuation and more for crew members of all nationalities. Additionally, it covers vacation time and when in-between jobs.
