The new XT23 is MasterCraft’s latest multi-sport model and MasterCraft Boats UK has confirmed that it will be available as a bespoke superyacht tender with a Yanmar diesel inboard conversion.
The XT23 with its crossover hull is designed to handle all watersports including wakeboarding, waterskiing, wakesurfing, towsports or tubing. Its intuitive digital dashboard interface instantly dials in the size and shape of the wake required for any sport on the water. The XT23 is equipped with MasterCraft’s award winning Gen 2 Surf System that makes maintaining a consistent speed and creating perfect wake conditions a simple touch-screen operation. Michael Hardicker, MD of MasterCraft Boats UK, explains, ‘Crew members can very quickly become expert drivers, giving a professional tow to the owner’s family and guests enjoying watersports activities on board. This ensures that all ability levels get the best experience on the water as the boat driver can consistently create perfect wakes whatever the conditions’.
The hull on the XT23 has been specifically designed to create maximum interior depth resulting in a spacious lounge and plenty of storage space. The comfortable and durable rotocast seats provide space for up to 16 guests and the boat’s oversized sunpad serves as a relaxing gathering spot. The entire boat can be outfitted in MasterCraft’s new for 2017 ‘Cool Feel’ vinyl that remains cool to the touch even after extended exposure to direct sunlight. This is just one of many bespoke options available and the new XT23 is the first MasterCraft boat to debut more than a dozen upgrades that will be offered on the Company’s 2017 models.
Also new this month, and available on the XT23, is MasterCraft’s DockStar Handling System that enables boat drivers of any ability to confidently drive in reverse and more easily navigate tight docks and crowded marinas. The innovative system enables this through a pair of low-profile, flanking rudders that enable port-side reverse control, which was previously unattainable with inboard towboats, while also greatly assisting during docking and controlling the vessel at low speeds. The DockStar Handling System will be available on all bespoke superyacht tenders.
MasterCraft Boats UK handles worldwide sales of the bespoke superyacht tenders. The addition of the new XT23 brings the number of bespoke tenders available with the Yanmar diesel inboard package to six. They range in size from 6.10 metres to 7.92 metres. The recently launched NXT20 Global Edition is also available for the bespoke tender treatment and comes with a Mercury Verado outboard engine, the Company’s first outboard towboat in over 20 years.
