It’s full steam ahead for the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous as a splendid and eclectic fleet of Yachts line up to drop anchor in the inviting emerald waters of the Andaman sea; at Kata Rocks Resort Kata Bay, Phuket, Thailand on the 16th -18 Dec.

This is Asia Largest at sea invitation only gathering of superyachts, tailor made for their owner’s guests and VIPS in mind. Where the true fun and excitement of Luxury Yacht ownership is celebrated, Feadship who have sponsored the Rendezvous for the last 15 years want to the world see how much pleasure Yacht ownership can bring.

The lineup in 2015 will be S/Y Lamima a stunning 65 Meter Gaff rigged Indonesian Phinisi; the largest wooden Yachts in the world, two graceful classics S/Y Aventure at 29 meter and S/Y Lady Thuraya, a high performance Dubois S/Y Bliss at 37 meters, S/Y Arabella a 20 meter new build Fountaine Pajot , sleek cruiser M/Y Antares by Maoira Yachts at 32 meters, the high performance M/Y After 8 a beautiful German built custom at 33 meters, and the contemporary sharp lines of M/Y Darling a 21 meter new build Monte Carlo courtesy of Royal Phuket Marina and Gulu Lalvani.

This exclusive event brings together some of Asia’s most active influential Business leaders and society luminaries, shining a brighter light on the stunning multifaceted gem that is Phuket; a gate way to a unlimited selection of Luxury Yacht cruising adventures; that will leave an indelible mark on your heart and soul.

The Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 2015 highlights wil be:

? Two amazing Racing Events -Displaying Sailing & Motor Yachts in their full glory.
? The Feadship Challenge- Where teams go head to head to build a model boat and blow it to victory.
? The Rendezvous Pirate Booty- Fun for kids and adults alike follow the clues and get those pieces of eight.
? The Yacht parade- line up of the attending fleet – The annual group photo.
? The VIP Gala Dinner- The grand finale for the Rendezvous and close of the event. Guests will be treated to a delicious Thai fusion menu.
This is going to be an exciting and fabulous event that celebrates its 15th Year in Phuket, and has not strayed from its roots planted by Gordon Fernandes and Charlie Dwyer who is a passionate sailor with a sea going career stemming from child hood 45 years ago.

29 Years later the 6 foot 6 athletically built Charlie cannot be kept away from the helm and plans to expand the Rendezvous sailing events. The Rendezvous Super Yacht Cup 2017 maybe? Gordon, Charlie and Andrew are certainly Navigating towards year on year success for the Rendezvous.

Charlie has witnessed and participated in the evolution of Luxury Yachting as we know it today, and he certainly brings the fun loving spirit of Margaretville to Rendezvous, no matter what shore you find him on he will still be ‘looking for his lost shaker of salt’.
The Event organizers view the Rendezvous as a unique Ambassadorial, event that not only displays Yachts in all their resplendent glory celebrating a lifestyle experienced by very few people. But is a great opportunity to promote a region and help develop Phuket into a Yachting Hub and viable long term home for yachts or a stress free port of call.
