MasterCraft Boats UK introduced its luxury bespoke watersports tenders at Monaco Yacht Show in September. It was the first time the Company had exhibited at the show and it represented a significant commitment to the bespoke tenders market.

‘Being our first time at the show, we really didn’t know what to expect,’ said Michael Hardicker, MD of MasterCraft Boats. ‘We confirmed some orders and progressed others that we were already working on. The networking opportunities were good and we were able to meet with a number of industry professionals who we’d been talking to for some time, but hadn’t actually met. Whilst we weren’t familiar with the old layout, we understand that the new layout meant that visitors had to make a more determined effort to visit us. We were hoping for more casual footfall past our berth to increase the awareness of what we are now able to offer in order to generate more new enquiries,’ he added.

A new for 2015 X23 Saltwater Series was on display at the show, one of five boats ranging from 6.10 metres to 7.92 metres that are now available for the exclusive conversion to the Yanmar inboard diesel engine. The package also includes bespoke lifting solutions with options tailored to meet the widest possible range of requirements.

‘The inboard diesel option means that we can now offer a real alternative to superyacht owners wanting to enjoy the full MasterCraft watersports experience,’ said Hardicker.

MasterCraft Boats UK is responsible for international sales of MasterCraft bespoke tenders and deals with the particular needs and requests of superyacht owners, captains and industry professionals.

Planning is already underway for Monaco in 2016. Hardicker said, ‘Our first Monaco Yacht Show experience was a positive one and we will take what we’ve learned to ensure we capitalise on it for next year’. ENDS
